Lil'Scrappy signs with G-Unit
Rumors from every corner of the earth is that Atlanta based rapper Lil'Scrappy has left Lil' Jon and signed with 50 Cent's G-unit click. Source say that the 2 have been hanging out alot and having meeting discussing him joining the label. If this is true, will Lil'Scrappy's crunkness change I mean lets be honest, Young Buck's album was good, but it so wasn't crunk at least not for me. Right know I hear he is working on his own thing called G'z up, which I've heard some tracks off the mixcd and they are hot so ya'll need to check that out. Whether he's on Lil'Jon's label or G-unit and intern from BME states Lil' Scrappy is in the studio knocking out tracks with the Neptunes, David Banner, TI, and yes sir 50 Cent. Usher's Confessions to His Ex
According to Contact Music, Usher was looking to put a ring on the finger of his ex-girlfriend Eishia Brightwell shortly before their split last August, but his decision to come clean about his cheating ways left the model unable to trust him. He tells the Web site, "She never caught me cheating. I told. That ain't normally the process, but when you're trying to marry that woman, you gotta."
*Beyonce tells Billboard that her upcoming role in "Dreamgirls" will be the sole focus of her creative energy for the next several months, and only after its completion will she begin working on her next solo album.
"I'm not going to write for the album until I finish doing the movie," Beyonce tells the magazine. "I've never been so excited about a movie in my life. I want to give 100% to this film, because I know I was born for this role."
Beyonce says she's looking to hit the studio again in May, with an album release date targeted for September via Columbia. But that release schedule ultimately depends on the final day of production for "Dreamgirls."
Meanwhile, the other two Destiny's Children are also busy with solo projects. Kelly Rowland is working on her second solo album with producers Rich Harrison, Sean Garrett, Beyonce's sister Solange and fellow D-Child member Michelle Williams. Williams' next studio project will get underway this month, with an eye on a summer release.
"This album will still have an inspirational twist, but it will be R&B," she tells Billboard
New York's WQHT-FM is reporting that Atlanta rapper Young Jeezy and R&B newcomer Keyshia "I Should Have Cheated" Cole have been dating each other on the sneak tip since last November's Vibe Awards. Cole, an Oakland, Calif. native, is coming off of a breakout 2005, which saw her debut album "The Way It Is" reach Gold status. Jeezy, who went platinum with his album "Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101," has a nine-year-old son from a previous relationship.
